Meet Dr. Jayson Bird

After graduating from the University of Idaho, Jayson entered and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Creighton University dental school in 2013. Dr. Bird practiced dentistry in north Idaho for five years where he grew his practice with a central focus on genuine patient care.

In 2018, Dr. Bird decided he wanted to move to Idaho Falls where he could be closer to family, where he formed Bird Family Dental, now Bird Dental Studio. To serve his patients best, he utilizes the best up-to-date dental technology and techniques, such as CEREC Same-Day Crowns and Cone Beam 3D X-rays.

His specialty with implants has earned him the Excellence in Implant Placement award from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID).

What to Expect with Yomi Guided Technology

Our advanced Yomi robotic system leverages the precision of 3D imaging and micro-GPS technology to elevate the accuracy of dental implant placement, virtually eliminating the risk of human error. With accuracy measured to the thousandth of a millimeter, Yomi significantly reduces surgical complications. It supports faster healing times, making it an excellent choice for full mouth dental implants.

Each dental implant and full mouth restoration begins with detailed 3D imaging of your oral anatomy, followed by the development of a tailored treatment plan uploaded to the Yomi software. The Yomi system is crucial in achieving exceptional results, ensuring beautiful, functional smiles with minimal discomfort and optimal outcomes.

Our Transformative Treatment Options

Single Implants

A single implant may be ideal for individuals who have lost a single tooth. Using one implant and a crown, this option effectively replaces the missing tooth and its root. Tailored to your specific needs, single-tooth implants operate similarly to natural teeth, utilizing titanium implants that promote the health of your remaining dental structure.

Dental Bridges

Dental bridges are an excellent solution for those who have lost a single tooth or a row of teeth. This dental restoration involves placing crowns on the natural teeth adjacent to the gap and artificial teeth that effectively “bridge” the space in your smile.

IV Sedation

We proudly offer two distinct sedation dentistry options for those seeking a relaxed dental experience. Our services include nitrous oxide and IV sedation, both effective forms of dental anesthesia designed to enhance your comfort during your visit.

Full Mouth Dental Implants

Full mouth dental implants provide a lasting solution for patients who need to restore an entire arch of missing or damaged teeth. This treatment offers a natural look and feel, improved function, and long-term stability, allowing you to enjoy a confident, complete smile. With advanced implant techniques, full mouth restorations can transform your life.

What to Expect from the Implant Procedure Near [City],[State]

When you entrust your missing smile to our team, you’ll benefit from personalized care, advanced technology, and our comfort-focused approach. During your consultation at Bird Dental Studio, we take the time to understand your unique needs and goals, use state-of-the-art 3D imaging for precise, predictable planning and results, and discuss the dental implant cost. Before proceeding with surgery, we check to ensure any lingering oral health problems are resolved.

On the day of your procedure, we will administer your choice of sedation to ensure your comfort throughout the procedure. We will make small incisions in your gums to access the underlying bone and insert 4-6 implant posts into predetermined spots. Once your implants are placed, we will attach your abutment connector and fix your temporary teeth. These temporary teeth allow you to eat, smile, and laugh confidently while your mouth heals!

During early and subsequent follow-up appointments, we will assess your gums, implants, and surrounding teeth to determine if healing is progressing without complications. We may also take digital X-rays to ensure there is no accumulation of plaque and tartar and/or signs of inflammation or infection.

Aftercare involves proper oral hygiene, mindful eating, and avoiding habits that can damage your implants. Once your implants have fused with your jawbone to create a solid foundation for your new smile, we will place your final prosthesis. During your final visit, you’ll receive a customized permanent crown, bridge, denture, or full arch teeth. Dr. Bird will check to ensure everything looks and feels perfect, and you’re happy with your newly restored smile!
